This aviation tool is primarily used for the inspection of the 1ST stage rotor of an aviation engine.

This guide tube is designed to be used with an articulating borescope. When using a borescope to complete the inspection you should never use force when introducing the borescope inside the guide tube. To satisfactorily complete this engine inspection, you must use a borescope that offers articulation (the ability to steer or maneuver the borescope tip). Most aviation maintenance professionals prefer a borescope with 4-way articulation or a joystick articulating system.
